The French Football Federation has returned to FIFA because of its plans to grab the old card of retired player Michael Olisse, having lost the match in the 1/16 final of the 2026 Emergency against Paraguay (1:0). RTL informs about this.

Apparently, at the end of the second half of a tense match, the Paraguayans often provoked the French, Olise was punished by referee Ilgiz Tantashevi for the conflict with Matias Galarza - but on the replays it was clearly visible that Michael was not sticking around.

For the 24-year Frenchman, a first-class card in the tournament was in order.

However, since the match against Morocco takes away the lead, he will not be available in the offensive game.

It is also possible that for the match, Tantashev rejected the lowest rating in the history of the world championship for his arbitration.

The story of Olis may be true, the fragments of the front US team grabbed a red card for their leader Falorin Balogun, with which the Whites, as well as UEFA, were dissatisfied.

Guess what, the match 1/4 finals of the Emergency 2026 France - Morocco will be held on June 9.
