Atletico Madrid on their official website announced the signing of a new contract with captain and senior coach Koke.
The new deal with the 34-year-old Spaniard is insured until the summer of 2027.
Guess what, Koke has been playing for the “mattress makers” since 2009. 740 matches this year, 50 goals scored and 122 assists.
Last season he played 56 matches, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
Atletico also announced the departure of the then-star Clement Lenglet, which went to Benfica.
The lease with the 31-year-old Frenchman is covered until the end of the season, after which he will sign a contract until the summer of 2029.
Lenle played 24 matches and provided one assist in his last campaign.
