Shakhtar officially voted for the recognition of Oleksiy Belik as the head coach of the U-21 youth team. The 45-year-old fahivets prepares “Girniki” for the 2026/27 season with the new coaching staff.

Belik is a member of the Donetsk club and one of the most famous football players in the history of Shakhtar. During his playing career, he became the champion of Ukraine for three times and won the Ukrainian Cup for two at the " Also a forward who played for Shakhtar-2, Bochum, Dnipro, Metalurh Zaporizhia and stole the colors of the youth, youth and national teams of Ukraine.

Belik started his coaching career in 2021 at Shakhtar Academy as an assistant of the U-15 team, and later worked with Shakhtar U-19. In 2023, we won the junior team, which immediately won championship medals, and in the 2025/26 season, the team won the championship title.

The coaching staff of Shakhtar U-21 also includes Oleksiy Gai, who is the current assistant head coach, goalkeeper coach Artem Tetenko and physical training coach Dmytro Kornienko.
