Krivbass head coach Patrick van Leeuwen commented on the start of pre-season preparation for the new season in the UPL.
" The stinkers were busy with the padded clothes, so I’m glad that everyone turned around and refused permission for training. This means that everyone is healthy and ready before the start of the training camp. We spent our first training on a field with natural surfaces.
In the near future, at the first training camp - two friendly matches in Ukraine. This will give the team the opportunity to get all the players. This is part of our preparation program. After the first stage of work, when it’s time for matches, we’ll do some sparring. I hope that after this we will play a number of international fights beyond the borders.
Just before the skin season, we now understand more clearly who our team is. We have a young team, and we want to develop both our team and the club, continuing what we showed last season. I am confident that this will help us to lose the middle of the leaders in the championship and play good matches, as is the case.
Our meta for the new season remains unchanged - to be at the top of the tournament table and compete for high places. “At the same time, we want to develop young football players and give them the opportunity to prove themselves at a high level, so that in the future they can successfully play in other clubs and championships,” the club’s press service quotes Van Leeuwen.
Previously, it was reported that Dibango, Korniychuk and Goncharenko were stripped of their UPL clubs, Obolon extended their contracts with two Gravians.
