Wolverhampton has announced the return of Raul Jimenez, reports the BBC. The Mexican striker will join the Wolves as a free agent after completing the contract with Fulgham.
According to Dzherel, the parties agreed to the yard contract with the possibility of extending it for another season. The 35-year-old forward has already undergone medical treatment and will soon officially become a member of the club from Molineux.
For Jimenez, he will return to the team, having seen the highlights of his European career. From 2018 to 2023, the Mexican won 166 matches for Wolverhampton and scored 57 goals, which became one of the symbols of the club in the era of appearances in the Premier League and European Cups.
Last season, Jimenez stole the colors of Fulgham, but the London club decided not to continue with the veteran. Now the forward is with the well-established Mexico team, as he soon starts at the World Cup 2026 with a match against Pairs.
Wolverhampton, which finished last season in the English Premier League, is actively restocking its warehouse before the Championship campaign. Previously, the club also signed another proven footballer - Kieran Trippier.
