Inter continues to work on a possible transfer of Liverpool center Curtis Jones, reports Sky Sports.
According to Gerela, the interest of the Milanese club until the 25-year English team has already declared a fee and is being saved in advance of the summer transfer window. Jones is deprived of one of the main options for strengthening the middle line of the “Nerazzurri”.
However, the main problem is the financial strength of Liverpool. While the footballer's contract expires this summer, the Reds have no intention of reducing the price of their new signing and valuing him at approximately 30 million euros.
Inter, with its money, is ready to pay close to 20 million euros, through which a difference of ten million is saved between the clubs. Last year the parties were already in contact, but a compromise had not yet been reached.
