Barcelona could join the race for striker Darwin Nunez. As reported by Mundo Deportivo, the name of the Uruguayan forward was announced during the hour of negotiations between the Catalan club and Al-Hilal for the possible transfer of Joao Cancelo.
It is unknown whether Barcelona itself showed interest in the Liverpool forward, whose candidacy was nominated by representatives of the Saudi club. Nowadays, the very fact of the discussion is that the attacker is in the crosshairs of the blue-garnet sports team.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona's priority transfer target for the position of central striker is missing Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez. However, due to the complexity and high variability of potential Catalan interests, they can gain respect for alternative options.
