Liverpool are upset that their former footballer Xabi Alonso has become Chelsea head coach. According to The Telegraph, after the departure of Jurgen Klopp in the summer of 2024, the leaders of the Merseysiders were in contact with the Spanish coach, offering him a place at the club. However, Alonso then said no and remained at Bayer Leverkusen, but just a year later he agreed to Real Madrid's offer, and now Xabi has agreed to take over at the London club. The source says that despite Alonso agreeing to take over at Chelsea, Liverpool have decided to keep Arne Slott as coach for another season, despite the team's poor season. Earlier it was reported that Alonso's tactical ideas in Chelsea became known. News on Telegram and WhatsApp. Subscribe to our channels https://t. me/korrespondentnet and WhatsApp.
