Benfica awarded head coach Jose Mourinho a new contract. Fakhivets himself told media commentators about this, noting that he does not plan to look in detail at a possible agreement.
“It’s true, Benfica signed my new contract on Wednesday. But I don’t want to study, study and analyze it all at once. I will marvel at the week after our offensive match,” said Mourinho.
The coach also commented a bit on the possible transition to Real Madrid:.
“Due to Real, I don’t have enough useful propositions. After the end of the season, Benfica and I have a laudable decision,” he added.
It was previously reported that Real Madrid could change coach Alvaro Arbeloa and are considering Mourinho's candidacy.
