Saturday's derby between Slavia and Sparta had little to do with the sacred football, but ended in one of the most important episodes in the current history of Czech sports. At the seventh hour of injury time, when Slavia was leading 3:2 and was recovering from a match and winning the championship title, hundreds of home ultras broke through the fence and escaped onto the field of Fortuna Arena.

After the end of the match, shocking footage circulated on social media: the guards of both teams, under the protection of stewards, were rushing to enter the tribune area, as they were running away from ignited firelights. The stands were filled with smoke from the fireworks.

The main victim of the robbery was the 22-year-old Sparti goalkeeper Jakub Surovchik - he was hit by a flare from a nearby area. The goalkeeper himself has already stated that he will not make this incident seem disgraceful:.

“It’s absolutely unpleasant when, towards the hour of the match, someone approaches me, threatens me, and then attacks me. I will strive for justice in the legal field,” Surovchik wrote in his social media.

The Kerivnytsia of Slavia reacted to the incident as harshly as possible. The head of the club, Yaroslav Tvrdik, published an official animal husbandry, asking for an exemption from the Gravians of Sparti, judges and adequate patients.

“What happened after yesterday’s derby is the most difficult moment in the current history of the club. This is not football. This is not Slavia. Tseganba, the tractor with which we are all now unbearable. The values \u200b\u200bof our club are not hatred and violence. We take responsibility for ourselves,” Tvrdik said.

He also voiced the decision to close the Pivnichnaya Stand (the sector of the most active fans). They will be deprived of their empty goods, and all the guilty parties will not be brought to the level of confirmation.. The club has already transferred to the police recordings from security cameras and identification data of holders of subscriptions.

Moreover, Slavia has already suffered the first punishment: one of the fans abandoned their previous defense for the upcoming matches. Security cameras and security services for this person were promptly installed, after which they confessed to the attack on Jakub Surovchik.

The Czech Football Association categorically condemned the incident, calling it unpleasant.

The disciplinary committee has already initiated actions against both clubs. It is clear that the decision to impose harsh financial and tournament sanctions will be implemented this Tuesday.

Representatives of Sparti also released an official statement, adding: “Patients, employees and members of staff have no reason to fear for their lives, health and safety at the football stadium.”.

Prazka Slavia may play its upcoming home match on Wednesday against FC Jablonec.
