Barcelona and Spain striker Lamin Yamal shared his thoughts after winning the award for the world's most beautiful young athlete at the Laureus World Sports Awards.
“It’s hard to understand right away that you have responsibility and that you can’t have mercy, since you’re a butt for rich children,” the footballer said.
At the same time, Yamal is confident that he is trying to accept this pressure as a motivation for further development: “I am accepting this as something more positive, I am trying to speak in a meaningful way, sometimes, at least, to have mercy - at least 18.
