Head coach of the Brazilian national team Carlo Ancelotti shared his thoughts after the defeat of the French national team (1:2) in a friendly match.
" The result is not the most important, but it shows what we have done well and what we have not done..
I think the team fought until the end, with a handful of good chances. Alas, we didn’t have enough time to play in our own half of the field, as well as the strength to avoid counterattacks, after which the opponent scored.
I am happy that the team fought, and the goal from a set piece is important. Partially satisfied, prote not varto be satisfied with the result.
We can compete with the best teams in the world. Whom I have no doubt about.
We stood up to a very strong, high-class team and fought to the bitter end to overcome. Conversions that we fought at the World Championships,” said Carlo Ancelotti.
