26-year guard Sven Botman, who plays for Newcastle, underwent surgery after a facial injury. The club's press service reported about this. The terms of the Dutch footballer's return to duty have not yet been announced.
He recovered from the injury during the recent match against Sunderland (1:2). During the 2025/26 season, Botman made 31 goals for the “forty”, including two goals scored and one assist.
Today, Eddi Gau, with 42 points scored, is in 12th row in the Premier League standings.
