Liverpool head coach Arne Slot spoke about the performance of English teams in this year's European Cup. Quotes from the Dutch BBC.
" It’s a very small choice and not the most reasonable decision, because perhaps after this difficult time we will get to something completely different.
By the way, the absence of the winter break is not to the benefit of the English clubs, but I’m not saying that all these teams lost through this. Chomu? Because in the 1/8 finals of the European Cups you are facing off against very strong opponents. And five of the six Premier League teams played on the road at Liza Champions.
Let's immediately evaluate all our results after the coming year. But, perhaps, it will be too early to start working,” Slot said.
We would like to remind you that in the first match of the 1/8 final of the Champions League, Liverpool lost minimally to Galatasaray (0:1) in Istanbul.
