Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola showed up after defeating Newcastle (3:1) in another match of the League Cup semi-final. Quotes from the Spanish BBC.
“It’s nice to play against Arsenal, currently the strongest team in Europe, and maybe the world.
There is a lot to be desired - statistics, stability, impersonality of details, how to control the stink. And no matter how much we played against them, it would be better to kill us.
I also pray that my team will be in good shape, and that we will have those in our order who can try to force a fight on Arsenal.
We've spent a lot of pennies at the end. Zharti ubik, I am honest. No matter what, I know what a difficult path it is,” said Guardiola.
