Winger Raheem Sterling was honored at the Berlin Union in recent days. Sky journalist Florian Plettenberg reports this.
The information was exclusively confirmed by the sports director of Union Berlin Gorst Geldt. In his words, the proposal of the English footballer looked dubious and did not arouse serious interest in the club.
" In whose case everything didn’t look serious, we didn’t bother to pursue this topic,” Geldt said in a commentary on Sky Sport DE.
It seems likely that Raheem Sterling, having deprived Chelsea of \u200b\u200bLondon as a free agent from Sichna, agreed to terminate the contract on the basis of the absolute necessity of playing practice.
