Words from Marcelo Belsi after the defeat in Colombia.
Head coach of the Uruguay national team Marcelo B'elsa commented on the defeat of Colombia (0:1) in the semi-finals of the Copa America.
" I think our team was the strongest in individual terms, and we were not able to achieve the difference that I thought we could achieve, so I bear special responsibility for those who were not able to achieve an advantage in the first half and speed up faster after a break.
When a team overcomes, which has lost its minority, the coach who is in charge of this team demonstrates his superiority - which is what he has over me.
I think that if we played a draw, then the result would be fair. Honestly speaking, I would be more interested in the fact that Colombia’s collection was not a little different, because Colombia was playing on saving the result, and this was more important for us than the bottom line in the same warehouses,” said B’elsa.
Guess what, CONMEBOL came out with condemned beatings in the stands after the match Uruguay - Colombia.
