The brilliant Portuguese lost his team for Euro 2024 at the quarter-final stage.
As part of the quarterfinals of Euro 2024, the French national team knocked Portugal out of the tournament in a post-match penalty shootout that recorded a goalless draw in regulation and overtime.
It is worth noting that the unchanging leader and captain of the Portuguese team, Cristiano Ronaldo, finished the European Championship in Germany without scoring a goal, which was the first time in his entire history of appearances on great international tours irah.
We remember that earlier the 39-year-old forward scored all the great goals for the Portuguese national team, in which he took part: Euro 2004, World Cup 2006, Euro 2008, St. Petersburg Championship ITU-2010, Euro-2012, World Championship-2014.
Before the current Euro 2024, Cristiano Ronaldo did not finish without an effective performance: in the framework of another round of the group stage against Tureccin, the forward scored an assist on Bruno Fernandes, due to his losses and the possibility of scoring a goal through a missed penalty in overtime against Slovenia.
