The head coach of the Turkish national team, Vincenzo Montella, shared his thoughts from the match with Georgia in the 1st round of the group stage of Euro 2024.
“It is a great honor for me to play here, at Nimechchina, in front of the numerous fans of the Turechchina team. It is now important to appreciate the value of the Georgian harvest. Ale stinks will be highly motivated. This will be a difficult match, and we will have to save patience and lose everything organized until the end of the match.
We have never won the first match in the final part of the Euro, and there is a phrase: “Everything comes first”. We worked hard to be ready to play a good match and, obviously, to achieve another victory,” the UEFA press service quotes Montella.
The match between the teams of Turkey and Georgia will take place today in Dortmund and will start at 19:00.
