Important message to the English club.
Head coach of English Brighton Roberto De Zerbi commented on his team’s crushing defeat against Roman Romi (0:4) in the 1/8 finals of the European League. Quoted from the Italian official website of UEFA.
" Possibly, this is the best thing we can show right now.
Roma was richly beautiful in terms of demonstrating their skill in such matches, and it was very important for us - we had not been called before tournaments of such a level.
We created a lot of chances, almost as much as our opponent, but Roma played at a different pace and won the match.
Brighton are first in the 1/8 finals of the European League. This is a great opportunity ahead for us, but I know that we played to 20% of our capabilities,” said De Dzerbi.
Previously, head coach Romy De Rossi spoke about the team with Brighton.
