Shakhtar fell asleep at the twisted position through the FIFA rule.

General Director of Donetsk Shakhtar Sergiy Palkin revealed that the club was threatened with disqualification from European competitions due to obstruction of foreign players.

“When the war began, we checked FIFA’s decisions in favor of our players, it became clear that the legionnaires would want to sing. We had home ownership before Solomon’s transfer to Fulgham, Tete and they were also sold, and it was important to join FIFA, they actually ignored us and behaved in a really bad way to 100 Ukrainian clubs..

We spent a lot of our footballers in one day and at that time we had to fight in front of other clubs for these victims amounting to 40 million euros, and they were allowed to be released free of charge. “FIFA also informed us that we can pay the fees ourselves, and otherwise obtain a license to participate in European cups,” Palkin said in a comment to The National.

Apparently, through the new transfer rule, Shakhtar is planning to sell: forwards Alan Patrick and Marcos Antonio, as well as forwards Fernando and David Neres. Six more players - Vitao, Marquinhos Cipriano, Vinicius Tobias, Maicon, Tete and Pedrinho - left the club on loan..
