FIFA announced the updated format of the world club championship, which will be held in 2025 in the United States of America. The official website of the organization informs about this.

It appears that the tournament will involve not 7, but 32 teams, which will be divided into the entire group according to the number of teams in each of them.

Clubs in the group stage will play three games with skin problems from their opponents.

The two best teams from each group will advance to the 1/8 finals of the tournament. From this stage and right up to the final, one match is played per ticket, similar to the World and European Championships.

It is indicated that the game for the third place between the teams that lost in the semi-finals will not be held.

The tournament will be held from 15th June to 13th June 2025.
