Oleksandr Zinchenko predicted the Russian Federation’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Arsenal manager Oleksandr Zinchenko commented on the war in Ukraine and guessed what his country would be going through.

“No one can understand what we, Ukrainians, are going through. Especially those who live in the country, trying hard to limit their lives to the bombs over their heads. I have two children, and I can’t imagine how I and my family would live such a life, if the siren sounds at night, and you want to go to the bombshell.

It is important to explain to people that this is the current situation in Ukraine. All of us, the football players who play behind the cordon, are united with people in Fatherlandism and are trying to help in any way we can, as much as possible, we are trying to convey to people all over the world information about the situation that has developed.

I understand that this is due to the war, but it is our fault to continue. You never know what the nearest fate will become.

It’s our fault to trim at once.

We understand that we have additional responsibility. What can we do to give our people additional emotions, make them laugh, make them happy, if only for a little while?. This is our obligation - to give them joy. We are encouraged to work hard if we wear the Ukrainian coat of arms on our chests,” Zinchenko said, the club’s press service.

Previously, Zinchenko has confirmed that he is unlikely to return to the field after an injury.
