Foden - about the load with Everton: At the break, Guardiola simply told us to believe in ourselves, because we are a top team

The author of the first goal against Everton (3:1), Phil Foden, commented on the victory over the Toffees in the Premier League match.

“I think we played much better in the first half - the same story, perhaps, was in the previous matches. At the break, the coach simply told us to believe in ourselves, because we are the top team. Another half - wow! I think we just killed them.

I want to praise Everton. I think this is the top team, and the rest of the time the stench will be really bad. The stench made life difficult for us and I am already satisfied with the result. It’s important to play here,” the Manchester City midfielder said.
