Gabriele Gravina has defined a clear position for the European Super League.
President of the Italian Football Federation Gabriele Gravina commented on the news that the European Court allowed the creation of the European Super League, regardless of the defense of FIFA and UEFA.
" We were a united Federation, which took a very clear position. We are categorically against this, as a rule, whenever anyone who joins this project should leave the Federation.
We cannot wait to enter before the Super League, but if we choose, we must be clear, it is inevitable to play in two or three tournaments under different organizations.
We are already waging an internal struggle through the calendar - you know what will happen if we add another tournament. I can steal the brand of Italian football, and we have to know what we have right to do,” Gravina quotes Mundo Deportivo.
It was previously reported that Napoli was ready to join the Super League.
