62-Rich Czech Fahivets voted for the Czech national team from 2018.
The Czech national team beat Moldova (3:0) in the final match of the Euro 2024 qualifying cycle, which gave them a ticket to the European Championship.
However, after the match, the head coach of the national team, Yaroslav Shilgavy, announced that he would strip the Czech national team.
" We reached our goal - we qualified for the European Championship.
Don’t be surprised by the success, before the match we were told that we wouldn’t be able to continue with the practice. I told about this President of the Czech Football Federation Petr Focek.
I was under a great pressure, and sometimes I didn’t understand. This impacted our decision. It's all about me and the coaching staff. I’m sorry that we got caught up in our work and are depriving ourselves of a good result,” the press service of the Czech Football Federation quotes Shilgavi.
Shilgavi won the Czech Republic national team in 2018. Under this year, the Czechs reached the Euro quarter-finals in 2021.
As of this year, 56 fights, 26 wins, 10 draws and 20 losses with a goal statistic of 81:68. This is another indicator of the number of matches for a coach in the history of the national team.
