Georgy Sudakov commented on his team’s victory in the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Pivnichnaya Macedonia (2:0).

I think that I could have played a lot better, there were a lot of moments when I needed to play forward, there were moments when I might have stolen a pass, but I think I could have won.
Emotions are especially strong against Italy, but we are already starting to think about Malta.
The first match against Malta was very difficult, we didn’t convert a lot of chances, but I’m sure that we will forget a great goal. We played incredibly hard in front of our stands. The whole stadium is cheering you on, it’s very atmospheric and it really helps I believe that there will be another goal. As an attacking footballer, I always want to score and provide assists. Karavaev’s goal is a masterpiece,” Sudakov told Suspilny.
