38-year-old Frenchman has too high salary requirements.
Former Fiorentina and Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery cannot agree with Verona to sign a contract, according to journalist Nicolo Schira on his twitter.
According to the source, the 38-year-old Frenchman intends to sign a one-year contract with the Italian club with a salary of 1.8 million euros, but this amount is too large for Verona..
It is also noted that Verona is still interested in signing Ribery, but the transfer will take place only if the player lowers his contract requirements.
Last season, Ribery had 30 fights in the “violets”, in which he scored two goals and gave seven assists.
