UEFA National Teams Committee recommends expanding teams' bid for upcoming tournament.

Thus, according to the source, the participants of Euro 2020 will be able to apply for the tournament not 23, but 26 players.

This decision was made against the backdrop of problems with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Recall that for the same reason, UEFA allowed five substitutions for Euro 2020 instead of the three required.

The European Championship will be held from June 11 to July 11.

Earlier, UEFA excluded Bilbao and Dublin and added Sevilla to the list of host cities for Euro 2020.
