The manager understands Arteta's decision to exclude the player.
Leicester head coach Brendan Rogers commented on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta's decision to exclude Mesut Ozil from the Premier League squad.
" Ozil is a talented player, but it depends on your structure. Each player needs to contribute to both the defensive and offensive aspects of the game.
" They must work together. There are teams with more freedom, but less structure. "
" He can make the last pass, but the situation concerns the team. It is about integrating the individual qualities of a player into a team, and if you feel that this player cannot influence the game or does not want to influence it, this affects your attacking and defensive structure "
Earlier, Ozil's agent sharply criticized the manager's decision to exclude the player.
