The Romans decided on a priority option.
The management of Roma plans in the offseason to offer a contract to Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen, reports Tuttosport.
According to the source, the initial option for the Romans remains the ransom from Manchester United centerback Chris Smalling, but the British are asking for a player 18 million euros.
It is noted that “Jallorossi” will not be able to pay United such an amount, which means they will make attempts to negotiate with Vertonghen, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Earlier, the Belgian footballer himself said that he was ready to consider various options for continuing his career, including Italy.
