Chelsea is considering the acquisition of Kai Haverts, reports The Athletic.
The source says that the “blue” are interested in the 20-year-old football player as an alternative to Philippe Coutinho. The transition of the 27-year-old Brazilian at this stage seems unlikely.
The Athletic claims that Chelsea scouts regularly monitored Havertz.
This season, the German has played 22 matches in the Bundesliga: he has six goals and five assists.
Earlier it was reported that Havertz fell into the sphere of interests of Manchester United.
