Today Liverpool will meet in the replay of the fourth round of the FA Cup with the 16th team of the third division of England - Shrewsbury Town. “Reds” will put up a youth team for this match - players no older than 20 years old, and double coach Neil Critchley will lead them.
Despite the lack of stars, a full house can be expected at the stadium: as of February 3, more than 50 thousand tickets were sold, reports The Guardian. At the same time, the capacity of Anfield Road is 54 thousand people.
Partially the sale of tickets was facilitated by a reduction in prices: admission for adults costs 15 pounds, and for children - only 1?
Liverpool decided not to set the main team to give players a break from the busy season. Premier League teams left for a short winter break, which will last until mid-February.
On football. ua will be available online text broadcast of the match. The game will begin at 21:45.
