Forward Diego Costa continues recovery after surgery.

According to the publication Marca, the Spanish striker should be back in operation for the first match with Liverpool in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.

Diego Costa underwent surgery to remove a hernia of the cervical spine in late November. Initially, it was assumed that the 31-year-old player will return to duty no earlier than April.

This season, the striker spent 15 fights in the “mattresses” T-shirt, distinguishing himself by two goals and three assists.
