Cardiff continues to look for ways to avoid paying Nantes on the transfer of the deceased two days after the announcement of the transfer of Emiliano Sala and appealed the decision of FIFA - reports Sky Sports.

The official statement from the press service of the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne said: " During the spring of 2020, with the participation of representatives of Cardiff and Nantes, a procedural calendar will be developed.

The final decision on the case will be made no earlier than June 2020 "

Cardiff motivated his reluctance to pay the € 6 million (? 5.3 million) established by the FIFA Player Status Committee by the fact that at the time of the disaster in which the football player died, he was not yet officially a “blue bird” player.

FIFA may prohibit Cardiff any transfer activities during the next three “windows”.
