Last summer, Wolverhampton signed a contract with goalkeeper Rui Patricio, who previously terminated the agreement with Sporting unilaterally.
Lisbon "lions" did not like this development and they demanded compensation for the 30-year-old player of the Portuguese national team, threatening the "wolves" with a complaint to FIFA.
According to the official website of Sporting, the parties came to an agreement - Wolverhampton paid 18 million euros for Patricia.
This season, Patricio played ten Premier League appearances for Wolverhampton, in which he conceded nine goals and kept his net “dry” four times.
