After the Italian specialist led Leicester to victory in the Premier League 2015-2016 the fans of the club announced the fundraising for the statue of Ranieri.

According to estimates, the monument to Claudio in his lifetime should cost 10 thousand pounds - not so much for the whole city. Nevertheless, according to the website of Gianluca Di Marzio, fund-raising is catastrophically low.

At the moment, collected only 910 pounds, so the construction of the statue is still being postponed indefinitely.

Ranieri was fired from Leicester in February 2017.
