According to Belgian journalist Christoph Terje, Chelsea have not yet begun negotiations with Eden Azar regarding a new deal.
The 27-year-old football player notified the leadership of the Blues at the end of 2017 that he does not yet want to sign a new contract. Since then, Chelsea have not made any specific attempts to try to convince the player.
At some point, Chelsea will propose Azar a new deal and begin contract negotiations, but so far, the "retirees" have not done so.
The agreement of Eden Azar with Chelsea is calculated until June 30, 2020.
