Swedish central midfielder Albin Ekdal moved to Sampdoria from Hamburg.

Sampdoria completed the acquisition of midfielder Albina Ekdal from Hamburg, the official website of "Blewerkjati".

The amount of the transfer was 2.2 million euros, and the 29-year-old player of the Swedish national team signed a contract with his new club until 2021.

Albin already has experience playing in Italian football with Cagliari, Bologna, Siena and Juventus.
