Last week, Roma was close to signing midfielder Bordeaux Malcom, but as a result, the deal broke down due to the fact that the Brazilian intercepted Barcelona.
As reported by France Football, an alternative option for "jalolorussi" could be another representative of League 1 - Winger Lille Nicolas Pepe.
In the last draw of the French championship Pepe scored 13 goals and gave 4 assists, which attracted the attention of Roma.
Also in the list of possible Roman transfers to the current window are Florian Thoven, Domenico Berardi, Suso, Leon Bailey and Emil Forsberg.
