Forward Manchester City Sergio Aguero suffered arthroscopy of the left knee, according to the BBC.

The 29-year-old Argentinian has been experiencing problems for the past five weeks, so doctors decided that the player needs surgical intervention.

It is expected that for the restoration of Aguero it will take about a month, so he is unlikely to return to the field this season, but must recover by the beginning of the World Cup.

In the current season, Aguero spent 39 matches for Manchester City in all tournaments, which scored 30 goals and gave seven assists.
