Midfielder Lucas Torreira intends to leave Sampdoria in the coming summer, and the club will consider the option with its sale.
"Torreira wants to leave, so we will consider the situation. He wants to sign four clubs, so we will make a decision at the end of the season, "Ferrero said in an interview with Radio CRC.
Last summer, the 22-year-old Uruguayan tried to sign Roma, but it was recently reported that the favorite for his purchase is Napoli.
In the current season, Torreira spent 32 matches for Sampdoria in all tournaments, which scored four goals and gave one assists.
