Defender of the Polish Lech Vladimir Kostevich admitted that for him it would be a great honor to receive a challenge to the Ukrainian team.
Ukrainian defender Vladimir Kostevich joined Lech in January 2017, and in June he was recognized as the best left defender of the Polish championship.
It was reported that the ex-player of the Carpathians could get a debut challenge to the national team of Ukraine, but Kostevich admitted that none of the representatives of the national team had contacted him.
"Neither Andrey Shevchenko, nor anyone else from the headquarters of the Ukrainian national team contacted me. I know that newspapers used to write about the possibility of my call, but all these conversations died down. None of the national team headquarters came to Poznan, at least I do not know anything about it, "Kostevich told Sportowe Fakty.
