Group A FC Zirka (Kropiwnicki) Premier League team for the first time taking part in the Cup of the Dnieper. Zirka is currently conducting a training camp in Nikopol and in the same wards Roman Monareva will hold their matches in the tournament.
Zirka is a three-time winner of the USSR Cup (1953, 1973, 1975), bronze medalist of the USSR Championship (1955), three-time winner of the First League of Ukraine (1994/95, 2002/03, 2015/16) and last two seasons in the Premier League. The team conducts its history from 1911 and is one of the oldest football teams in our country.
FC Zarya U-21 (Lugansk) The youth and ambitious team of Lugansk Dawn, led by its coach Vladimir Mikitin, has repeatedly participated in such a tournament and has always been one of her favorites. In the championship of youth teams of the season 2017/2018 Dawn U-21 after 19 matches with 35 points takes the third place. And in the previous season of the youth championship this football team finished on the fifth line.
FC Mir (Gornostaevka) Football Club Mir represents the village of Gornostaevka Novotroitsky district, Kherson region. The team was created on the basis of the collective farm Mir in 1994, now it is the Agrofirma Mir. The football team has repeatedly become the champion of the Kherson region (1995, 1997, 2005, 2006, 2007), twice took the cup of the Kherson region (2006, 2007). In 2010, the World became the champion of Ukraine amateur teams. This season the team is in the Second League, at the moment the World is in the fifth place in the southeast division.
FC Victoria (Mykolayivka, Sumy region) Victoria is a young club, it was established in 2015 on the basis of the Agrofirma Victoria. In the same year, the football team became the champion of the Belopolsky region and the silver medalist of the Sumy Region Football Championship, as well as the finalist of the Cup of the Sumy region. In 2016 in the winter championship of Sumy region the team takes first place. This season, Victoria takes part in the regional championship and in the Ukrainian championship among amateur teams, at the moment the team takes the first line of the standings of the second group. Despite her youth, Victoria is a worthy representative of Sumy regional football.
IFC Metallurg (Zaporozhye) IFC Metallurg and FC Metallurg are different teams, both of them represent Zaporozhye. The history of the city football club Metallurg has been running since the summer of 2017. Participated in the Mayor's Cup, but lost in the final of FC Motor. The team performs in the championship of Zaporozhye, the amateur championship of Ukraine and the Amateur Cup of Ukraine, where the Cossacks made their way to the quarterfinals, Viktoria from Nikolaevka will be a rival in 1/4, which, as you can see, is also in the group A of the Cup of the Dnieper. In the amateur championship after 9 matches Metallurg with 16 points is on the 4th place.
