Defender of Bavaria Joshua Kimmieh was named the best player of the German national team in the past year in the opinion of the fans.

The official website of the German Football Union held a vote among the fans, determining who they consider the best player of the Bundestim in 2017.

According to the voting results, the first place went to Joshua Kimmikh, who gained 45.3 percent of the vote.

Second place with 37.

8 percent was occupied by PSG midfielder Julian Draxler, and closed the top three with a huge gap goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, who received 4.7 percent of the vote.

In 2017, Kimmich took part in all official matches of the Bundestim, winning the German Confederations Cup as part of the German national team.
