"Blue" intend to acquire the Roman behemoth Emerson Palmieri.
The Brazilian defender only recently recovered from a rupture of the cruciate ligament of the knee that he received last May. However, this fact does not bother Chelsea at all.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Londoners are ready to buy Emerson, seeing in him an alternative to the Juventus beacon Alex Sandro, who was never able to get the "blue".
In turn, Roma may prefer to part with the player, in order to keep the budget limit and keep the team midfielders Raju Nainggolana and Kevin Strootman.
According to the source, Emerson was followed for a long time by Liverpool and Juventus, but Chelsea actively entered into negotiations with Roma, which last more than a day.
Earlier it was reported that the "blue" want to buy West Ham striker Andy Carroll.
