Before the new year, the Merseyside managed to crash the transfer of one of the best defenders of the Premier League, acquiring from Southampton Virgil van Dyke for 75 million pounds.

According to Chelsea's head coach Antonio Conte, his club also hunted a football player, but there's nothing to worry about that he could not get it.

"Van Dyck was definitely our goal, but that's life. This is football - you never know for sure how it will end ".

"You can have many transfer goals, but you need to be able to get the desired players. Now the market is very difficult for any club ", - quotes Conte Sky Sports.

Van Dyke has already successfully debuted for Liverpool in the FA Cup against Everton, scoring the winning goal at the gate "toffee".
