Mexican winger moved to Los Angeles.
In August 2017, it became known that Carlos Vela will become a footballer of the newly created FC Los Angeles.
The Mexican joins the club in January. In the last match for Real Sociedad Vela came on the field in the 78th minute and managed to score a goal. After the match Vela held a farewell press conference.
Ex-Arsenal player has played for Sociedad since the summer of 2011, playing 250 matches and scoring 73 goals in all tournaments.
The Los Angeles Football Club will make its debut in the US Main Football League next season, which starts in early 2018.
