Head coach of Manchester City Josep Guardiola refuted fresh rumors about the failed passage of Lionel Messi into the camp of the townspeople.
The day before the newspaper Marca reported that Lionel Messi refused to offer Manchester City an extra-profitable offer, which included a salary of 50 million euros per season, and preferred to sign a new contract with Barcelona.
Information about what "citizens" tried to get Messi denied the head coach of City Pep Guardiola.
"Leo Messi signed a deal with Barcelona a few weeks ago. It does not happen that a person signs a contract and immediately left ".
"Leo will end his career in Barcelona, ??despite my desire to have such a player on his team. I'll tell you so, the information about Leo Messi is not true, "Guardiola said at a press conference before the match with the Miner.
In the course of communication with journalists, Guardiola also said that the "citizens" intend to play against Shakhtar in his strongest football.
