The famous for the whole of England Derby M23 between Brighton and Crystal Palace was accompanied by riots.

The match of the fourteenth round of the championship of England between Brighton and Crystal Palace, ended in a draw (0: 0) was traditionally not without riots.

As reported by The Telegraph, the problems began even before the match began, when the newcomers who did not bother buying tickets for the match tried to enter the stadium. Under the hot hand of the police, who did not miss the American Express Community Stadium "rabbits", some fans with tickets. In the stands, the fans of Crystal Palace staged a pyrotechnic show with fire and smoke, and at the end of the fight they tried to reach local "colleagues". They were obstructed by the stewards of the stadium and the police, and as a result of the collision, two stewards were hospitalized with broken ribs, and the police reported knives and brass knuckles that had been seized from some detainees.

"The riots were provoked by a small group of hooligans, but thanks to the decisive actions of the stewards and the police, serious problems were avoided," said Brighton Executive Director Paul Barber.

- We wish the prompt recovery to the injured stewards and we thank the adequate admirers of both teams for not supporting the hooligans ".

Enmity of the fans of the two teams was born in the 70s of the last century, and the Derby M23 between Brighton and Crystal Palace, the stadiums that share only 50 miles and connects the M23, is potentially considered one of the most explosive in England.
